James Landis Prince — Army Veteran. Farmer’s Wingman.
James Landis Prince is the U.S. Army Veteran and Law Enforcement veteran behind Shadow Vet Drone Ops, LLC.
A two-tour Iraq combat veteran (2009 & 2011), James served as a UH-60 Blackhawk Avionics Technician, keeping critical aircraft mission-ready in high-threat environments. That same precision, discipline, and attention to detail now powers every drone flight over Mississippi fields.
His Journey:
U.S. Army (2009 & 2011 – Iraq tours) — Avionics tech on Blackhawk helicopters
Law Enforcement SRT — High-stakes operations, team leadership
Mississippi Native — Deep roots in local farming communities
Why Drones?
"I kept Blackhawks in the air under fire. Now, I keep crops thriving under the sun — same mission focus, smarter tech."
James saw drone spraying as the next evolution in agriculture:
Pinpoint accuracy = healthier plants
Less waste = lower costs
No damage = higher yields
So he launched Shadow Vet Drone Ops — pairing The latest in drone technology with Ag supporrt systems and veteran-grade execution to deliver precision spraying and Ag support.
