Every project begins with a mission review.
An on-site assessment allows us to see the work firsthand and properly evaluate the property, access, operating environment, requested service and expected deliverables.
Appointments are reviewed before final confirmation.
Flight operations depend on weather, wind, visibility, safe operating conditions, property access, FAA airspace requirements and applicable federal, state and local restrictions. Wildlife-related missions are also subject to applicable Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks regulations. If your project requires recurring reporting, specialized deliverables, chemical application or additional equipment, the complete scope will be confirmed before deployment is scheduled.
Have the basic mission details ready.
You do not need to know every technical detail. A complete location and a clear description of the problem are enough to begin.

Provide the complete address, parcel location, GPS pin or nearest recognized landmark.

Describe whether you need spraying, spreading, mapping, imaging, inspection documentation, thermal support or another drone service.

Include approximate acreage, structure size, corridor length, search area or other known measurements.

Your site assessment is the first step toward defining the mission, confirming feasibility and building an accurate project scope.

We meet at the property to review the target area, access, obstacles, terrain, surrounding structures and operating conditions.

We confirm scope, airspace considerations, equipment, responsibilities, deliverables, pricing and scheduling requirements.
We Schedule Deployment
Once approved, the operation is scheduled around weather, airspace, site readiness and safe operating conditions.
Safety and compliance determine whether a mission can proceed.
A scheduled date may need to change when environmental, airspace, regulatory or site conditions do not support a safe and lawful operation.
Weather and Site Conditions
Missions may be postponed because of rain, wind, poor visibility, excessive heat, unsuitable treatment conditions, unsafe terrain, people or animals within the operating area, or other hazards identified by the remote pilot.
FAA and Airspace Requirements
All flights are subject to applicable FAA operating rules, airspace restrictions, temporary flight restrictions, authorization requirements, aircraft limitations and remote-pilot safety determinations.
Wildlife and MDWFP Requirements
Wildlife-related requests must comply with applicable MDWFP and federal wildlife regulations. Shadow Vet Drone Ops will not perform an operation that would unlawfully hunt, take, pursue, disturb, harass or assist in the unlawful taking of wildlife.
What to know before scheduling.
Do you offer one-time and recurring services?
Yes. Shadow Vet Drone Ops provides both one-time missions and recurring services for progress reporting, documentation, vegetation management, mapping and other approved operations.
How far in advance should I book?
Advance notice is preferred. Assessment and deployment availability depend on the existing schedule, travel distance, weather, airspace review and the requirements of the project.
Can you fly near buildings, infrastructure or remote properties?
In many cases, yes. Each site must first be reviewed for safe access, obstacles, nearby structures, people, property boundaries, airspace and other operating considerations.
Do you provide raw footage or edited deliverables?
Deliverables depend on the agreed project scope. Available options may include raw imagery, edited photos or video, reporting visuals, maps, orthomosaics, inspection image sets or other specialized deliverables.
Is my job automatically confirmed when I book an assessment?
No. Booking reserves an assessment time only. The proposed operation must still be reviewed and approved before a flight, application, inspection or deployment date is confirmed.
Do you perform utility and infrastructure inspections?
Shadow Vet Drone Ops provides aerial visual inspection support, imaging and documentation based on the project scope, property access, equipment capabilities and safe operating conditions.
Why is an on-site assessment necessary?
Photos and written descriptions do not always show terrain, access limitations, obstacles, vegetation density, nearby structures or other conditions that affect equipment selection, pricing and mission safety. Seeing the site allows us to provide a more accurate assessment.
Can weather cause my mission to be rescheduled?
Yes. Rain, wind, visibility, temperature, treatment conditions and other environmental factors can make a scheduled operation unsafe or ineffective. Shadow Vet Drone Ops may postpone a mission when conditions are unsuitable.
Can FAA airspace restrictions delay a mission?
Yes. Controlled airspace, temporary flight restrictions, emergency activity or other FAA requirements may require authorization, limit the operation or prevent the flight from taking place at the requested time.
Are wildlife-related missions automatically approved?
No. Each wildlife-related request must be reviewed for the species, location, land type, season, requested activity and applicable MDWFP and federal requirements. Shadow Vet Drone Ops will decline any request that cannot be conducted safely and lawfully.
